Excellent drainage performance for a wide range of applications
BEDRAIN drainage mats have a three-dimensional core (drainage layer) made of polypropylene monofilaments arranged in a random network. A non-woven filter fabric is bonded on one or both sides of the geonet core, depending on the type of product. This effectively prevents soil particles from entering and clogging the drainage layer. The excellent hydraulic filtering properties of the non-woven fabric ensure long-term reliability of the drainage system. The non-woven fabrics are bonded to the geonet core during manufacture. Water drains away uniformly through the mat.
BEDRAIN drainage mats are suitable for both vertical and horizontal drainage applications. BEDRAIN Drainage Mat VWV 8 has been specially developed for applications with relatively high compressive loading. The long-term stability of the mat under high loading is ensured by the special corrugated structure of the drainage layer.

BEDRAIN drainage mats are rotproof and environmentally friendly. The mats are supplied on rolls and are exceptionally easy and cost-effective to lay due to their low weight. The material is resistant to temperatures from -20° to +100°C; it is resistant to salt water and UV radiation and is not susceptible to the chemicals commonly found in soils. BEDRAIN drainage mats can also be manufactured using polyamide (nylon) on request.
