General information about DROPTEC Protection and Drainage Membranes
Combined protection, drainage and filtration
DROPTEC protection and drainage matting is made of polyethylene foam flakes with various grain sizes, with a mechanically-bonded non-woven geotextile, which acts as a filter layer and is bonded to the polyethylene core.
The geotextile filter layer satisfies the requirements of geotextile robustness class GRK 3 and creates a stable filter in most types of soil. The polyethylene foam flakes are primary raw materials that are permanently bonded in a thermal process, without the use of adhesives or chemical additives. Longitudinal grooves on the underside of the matting ensure that water can drain away.
