General information about HDPE Polymeric Geomembranes
The highest level of protection against pollutants
Sealing systems in landfill sites, highway construction, rail construction, civil engineering, etc. must satisfy the highest requirements with regard to reliability and chemical resistance.
The special characteristics of polymeric geomembranes made from the raw material HDPE make them the ideal choice for these applications. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is a thermoplastic. Due to its high density, (0.94 - 0.96 g/cm³), HDPE provides excellent protection against the permeation of pollutants.

Application of the HDPE Polymeric Geomembranes
Application of the HDPE Polymeric Geomembranes
HDPE geomembranes are available in different thicknesses to suit the type of application. Both the top and bottom surfaces of the membrane are usually smooth. Special polymeric geomembranes with textured surfaces are also available, however, for use in certain situations, such as steep embankments.
HDPE geomembranes are laid and welded together on site by qualified specialist companies. The welding technique used allows quick and efficient installation of the membranes and produces quality-controlled welds.
