SYMPAFORCE Geogrids

General information about SYMPAFORCE Geogrids

Optimum reliability and stability for reinforced structures

SYMPAFORCE geogrids are woven grids made of high-tensile polyester yarns. The high tensile strengths range from 30 kN/m to 200 kN/m in the longitudinal (warp) direction. The geogrids have a protective synthetic coating for protection and stabilisation.

Advantage of the SYMPAFORCE geogrids

In contrast to tightly woven fabrics, SYMPAFORCE geogrids have a wide mesh structure, which gives them the special advantage of allowing the grains in the substrate and those in the fill material to interlock and bond. This makes SYMPAFORCE geogrids a cost-effective and safe solution for many types of application where non-cohesive, coarse-grained soils require reinforcing.

SYMPAFORCE geogrids are available in various tensile strengths. This means that the ideal product can be determined and selected for each project.

SYMPAFORCE offers further advantages, such as low elongation, low creep, high flexibility, the ability to mould itself to the contours of the ground and excellent bonding performance. Due to their excellent resistance to tear propagation, SYMPAFORCE geogrids suffer only minor adverse effects if damage is caused during installation.

SYMPAFORCE geogrids are used in the widest variety of civil engineering applications, such as dam foundations, transport infrastructure construction and the safe construction of steep embankments and reinforced retaining structures with inclinations up to 90° (geosynthetic-reinforced earth).
