General information about REGUM Interlocking Pavers
Easy to lay; no jointing material required
REGUM interlocking pavers provide an attractive and interesting alternative to elastic matting. Since the individual pavers interlock securely with each other, no special jointing or bonding is required.
The pavers are laid just as easily as concrete pavers, on the same type of pavement foundation. First, a mineral mix sub-base, approximately 20 cm thick, is laid and compacted. The REGUM interlocking pavers are then laid on a bedding course of sand or grit and the joints can be filled with sand. The paving can then be compacted using a vibrating plate compactor.
The pavers find applications in school playgrounds, small play areas, golf course paths, roof areas, traffic-calming zones, gymnastics surfaces, and aisles between stables, etc.
The elastic pavers are also available with a colour-fast EPDM rubber coating layer in bright red, and can be made to order in other colours too.
