Safe play and exercise areas for children
Both public and private developers find themselves in a dilemma at present. On the one hand, there is less and less space available for play and exercise areas for children and teenagers, especially in inner city areas, while on the other hand aggression and the need to let off steam are increasing.
The dangers associated with play and leisure areas represent increasing risks for operators, but at the same time the funds available for such outdoor facilities are becoming scarcer. Safety surfaces are indispensable and are now gaining in importance, not least for insurance reasons.
