Time and cost savings in the construction of beach sports facilities
BEACH DRAIN is a permanently elastic drainage mat made of closed-cell polyethylene foam flakes with a layer of filter fabric bonded to it.
The 20-mm-thick mats are 1.00 m wide and 2.25 m long and provide a quick and cost-effective solution for the construction of beach sports facilities.
Compared with conventional construction methods, BEACH DRAIN requires about 40 cm less excavation depth, needs no gravel drainage layer or double layer of separating fabric, and uses approximately 30 to 40 % less silica sand.
