The advantages of geogrids are as impressive as they are diverse: they improve soil stability, optimize load distribution and significantly increase the lifespan and performance of built structures. Lightweight yet highly effective, geogrids enable faster and more cost-efficient construction while actively contributing to environmental sustainability by reducing the need for natural resources.

Our geogrid reinforces the subsoil of a new bypass road – eliminating the need for other soil improvement measures such as soil replacement. This saves both time and resources, resulting in a significant increase in efficiency – for this site and for the approximately 300 construction projects we supply with geogrids every year.

Our range of geosynthetics includes geotextiles, geogrids, wovens, drainage and erosion control products and sealing systems – forming the foundation for sustainable, economical, and future-oriented construction.

Welcome to
our northern office

In addition to our headquarter in Nuremberg, we’ve had a second office in Lemgo since 2020 – located 25 kilometers east of Bielefeld, right in the heart of the Ostwestfalen-Lippe region. Our “Northern Office” enables our technical sales representatives to support clients in northern Germany more directly and effectively.

In close collaboration with our Nuremberg team, we also carry out a wide range of projects here – from safety surfacing and coastal and flood protection to infrastructure construction.

What sets our northern location apart is not only the expertise and personality of Burkhard Reker (center) and Karin and Ralf Pape, but also a distinct interior style – often hinting at Burkhard’s fondness for the 1970s.
Our colleagues from Nuremberg also enjoy stopping by – for meetings or simply when passing through.

Our solutions – always ready to ship

Unloading trucks, incoming goods inspection, picking and loading deliveries – in our warehouse, every minute counts. But it’s about more than just efficiency and speed: behind every parcel, pallet and shipment are people who use our products to build their visions and realize their projects – our customers.

Our state-of-the-art warehouse provides around 2,000 pallet spaces, with a hall area of 1,500 m² and an outdoor yard of approximately 10,000 m². This capacity allows us to keep a broad range of products in stock and respond quickly to customer needs.

PEGASOFT surfaces meet the highest safety standards and can be individually adapted to required fall heights – ensuring safety without compromising playfulness and fun. Thanks to their barrier-free design, they also ensure easy accessibility for all.

Durable and low-maintenance, PEGASOFT safety surfaces stand for sustainable and eco-conscious construction: used car tires (SBR granules) are given a meaningful second life in the PEGASOFT base layer.

TERRAMESH: faster. higher. steeper.

Construction kick-off and technical site briefing with M.Sc. Sebastian Schiller, our geotechnical consultant. Using our MINERAL TERRAMESH retaining wall system, an exceptional wall is being constructed: It will reach a maximum height of 24.5 metres and cover over 6,000 m² of visible surface area. Around 100,000 m³ of recycled construction material will be used for the backfill.

Flood protection meets biodiversity

As part of the ecological enhancement of the Seseke, we are stabilizing the riverbanks using RENO river mattresses. What was once a polluted drainage channel is now being transformed back into a thriving habitat for plants and animals.

From the idea to the final, flawless project

The story of the Seseke River shows how an ecologically dead waterway can be transformed into a vibrant natural habitat. Once a natural stream, the Seseke was converted into a wastewater channel due to mining operations and remained an inhospitable environment for flora and fauna for decades, lined with concrete channels.

As part of the “Ecological Improvement of the Seseke” project, our RENO river mattresses are being installed in Lünen. They provide long-term bank stabilization while promoting vegetation along the shoreline. In this way, our products create sustainable habitats and combine technical efficiency with ecological value.

With climate change intensifying, flood protection is becoming increasingly important. The ecological redevelopment of the Seseke is a flagship project for sustainable environmental and watercourse protection. In collaboration with authorities, businesses and local communities, the river has been revitalized and returned to nature.

We invest in vocational training

Franziska Voll, our trainer, is a perfect example of the success of our training programme.
She started her career at BECO BERMÜLLER ten years ago as an apprentice. Today, she shares her extensive knowledge with the next generation.

Since 1992, BECO BERMÜLLER has been training skilled professionals, supporting over 80 apprentices through a well-founded, hands-on training programme into working life.

Many of our former apprentices choose to stay with BECO BERMÜLLER after completing their training. As valued long-term employees, they contribute significantly to our company's success and ongoing development with their knowledge, dedication and loyalty.

Every apprentice is an investment in the future for us – the future of our company and the young people we support.

sustainability

Too good to waste

To reduce our use of new packaging materials, our employees bring private shipping boxes and filling materials from home. In 2023 alone, we saved around 730 kg of cardboard compared to the previous year.

Our commitment to the environment

Environmental protection and sustainability are key priorities for us. Since 2021, we have integrated environmental protection into our daily business processes through an active environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001. We are continuously working to reduce our environmental impact by improving energy efficiency, minimising waste and conserving resources. We also prioritise sustainability when evaluating and developing our products.
